Mrs. Thomason’s Superheroes!

In Mrs. Ham’s 6th grade Social Studies class, students have been diving into the Inventors and Inventions of the Industrial Age—but with a twist! Instead of just reading about the past, they stepped into the shoes of the inventors themselves. Each group chose an inventor or invention, researched its impact, and then prepared a Shark Tank–style sales pitch to convince their classmates why their invention was the most important and worth “investing” in. From the telephone to the lightbulb, our young entrepreneurs showcased creativity, critical thinking, and public speaking skills while bringing history to life.

Yay! All yearbooks have been signed out by families or students. If you think you ordered a yearbook but did not receive it please contact Mrs. Bookout - cbookout@ccboe.org.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. T to her new position as 4th grade math teacher.
My name is Ka-Ka Tuten, but most students know me as “Mrs. T.” I’m thrilled to be stepping into a new role at Cold Springs Elementary as a 4th grade math teacher! Since 2016, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a special education teacher here at Cold Springs Elementary. That chapter of my career has truly been life-changing. My students have taught me far more than I could have ever imagined about patience, resilience, empathy, and celebrating every milestone, big or small. They’ve shaped the teacher I am today, and I will carry those lessons with me into this new role. When I’m not in the classroom, I’m soaking up time with my husband, Jordan, and our two boys, Crider and Wilkes. Being a part of the Cold Springs community my whole life has been such a blessing, and I’m so grateful for the chance to continue growing and giving back right here at home.
